Private Project

Trasllat

Eight intellectually disabled people are moving out from the institution where they have lived for years. What does this transfer mean to them? To narrate this change in their lives, they are the ones who take the camera, leaving conventions behind to find their own way to tell their story. The transfer becomes the stage to reflect on inclusion and community.

Director Statement

This "Transfer" is also a change in our point of view. It offers us the possibility to stop looking at intellectually disabled people from the outside, and start seeing what they have to say. We give them the camera to see through their eyes. This is an opportunity to discuss how inclusion is understood in our society. An attempt to build a participatory and communitarian film.
