The world of TRAILER TRASH is grim, where the most vulnerable folks are tormented by addiction and lack the resources for stability, let alone support.
In Trump’s America, those with nothing now have even less than. Millions of Women have lost their rights to bodily autonomy and lack education when plagued with poverty. And those who struggle with addiction have largely lost their access to affordable health. care and cannot afford rehabilitation or mental health services and assistance.
TRAILER TRASH is both a commentary and an exploration of womanhood when all the potential in the world does not mean that you can overcome the constraints of your circumstances. When you have to scrape by every day, it is impossible to work towards building a better and brighter future for yourself.
I believe that we can do better - that we MUST do better - to build a better country for everyone, not just our gluttonous billionaires.
