Director Statement

The world itself is a myth. Everyone is trying to make a rule with a Flowchart that how to go about or else read and listen to someone and lead self-acclaimed compositions of life from there perspective. And there comes a boundary line where the
acceptance ended and the rise of remarks began.

"They know, what they know, and that's how they don't know much"

Doubt is the hindrance of a vast knowledge. Limitations are the sickness that human minds are suffering from... in reflection to a bunch of intercepted Minds...

Touttay (Parrots) is a piece of delusional visual, which will always try to break the
comfort of the known, the predicted, most informed, the trumps of the kingdom, the so-called politicians & the literates of course.
Touttay just happened, it was never a routine process to complete any kind of
task. Touttay (Parrots) has a story, hidden in the maze, where the characters are trying to reflect today's status of a Country like India and its illusion of following the values of Mahatma Gandhi and who is Gandhi today (a metaphor) . The dialogues are an interpretation of a (1984) banned poem"Gandhi Mala Bhetla" (I Met Gandhi).
Freedom of Speech is a past now, this film will be giving you the curiosity to know little
more about the known history, which itself has a mileage to raise its bar according to
the generation X. That Mileage is "Freedom of Thought".

Let the Birds Fly.....

Producer Point of View
Touttay, being an interesting and unique story, excited me personally, and the scope of telling the Gandhi's value was huge.

The Interesting fact is I am from software development background.

The biggest challenge was the time difference between Miami and Lucknow (India). We both had to work long hours to connect and discuss the project & planning during pre-production, shooting days and of course post-production.
