Touching Consciousness of Shiva
”Touching Consciousness of Shiva” explores the profound inner search for Lord Shiva — the unseen, the eternal, the one who resides within.
This poetic short film invites you into the stillness of the soul — a visual prayer inspired by devotion, memory, and mystical surrender. Every moment whispers the essence of “ನನ್ನ ಹರನ ಹುಡುಕಾಟ” — the longing to meet Him.
Purandara Dasaru, considered the reincarnation of Sage Narada, inspires the idea of a wormhole mantra — ‘Om Naradaya Namah’ — symbolizing timeless travel across realms through sound (mantra).
Shiva is portrayed not only as the supreme ascetic but as a cosmic singularity, akin to a Black Hole, where destruction is not an end but a gateway to silence and transformation.
Guru Raghavendra Swamy stands as the silent witness — the divine guide who validates the soul’s offering with grace.

Vinodkumar Kouthal is an Indian filmmaker debuting with “Touching Consciousness of Shiva”, a 30-minute bilingual short blending spirituality, mythology, and cosmic metaphors. His work explores the meeting point of devotion and science through poetic cinema.
This film is a journey where Narada’s mantra becomes wormhole, Shiva mantra a black hole, and Raghavendra Swamy (Guru) a guide and witness — an invitation to reflect, feel, and seek silence within.
