Short synopsis:
Animated short film from embroidery that visually explores sensations of a female orgasm.

Long synopsis:
Project carried out in an academic context, in the Degree in Communication Design at FBAUP. “Toque” is a digital cutout animation from pieces illustrated in embroidery, which seeks to explore its plasticity and its artistic potential, taking advantage of its connotation patriarchal to subvert. It is a sensory and subversive experience that visually interprets a female orgasm.

Director Biography - Inês Costa

Graduated designer from the Fine Arts Faculty of Oporto, now majoring in Image Design. Works with experiments in illustration, embroidery and animation, always trying to conect design and art in her projects of storytelling. Her research work focuses on the role of image in social problems and the responsability of design on social and political change.
Winner of FBAUP's acquisition prize of 2019/2020.
