To the sea

The film tells the story of a day in the life of Arianna, a girl who makes deliveries on her red bicycle for the delivery service "Il Filo". Arianna will have to deal with strange characters. The princess, the incarnation of the forgotten nobility of San Giovanni a Teduccio, the spirit of the villas that once made this piece of land unique. Now they are little more than ruins surrounded by concrete, evidence of what we have lost. Mr Trucchetto and the Pirate, perhaps petty thieves, perhaps skilled burglars, or old retired smugglers. They are the cunning and romantic souls of the city, who have always paid for their mistakes. They are the only ones who look at the sea, in a neighbourhood that has lost contact with it. The Ogre, the ghost of a working class, trying to preserve the dignity of commitment and memory. A victim of lost work, which has left the neighbourhood with a void of identity and the rubble of disuse, the true monster of history. In the end we discover that it was all a fantastic tale told by Arianna to her son. Or was it?
