TINTORETTO TOWER, THE DAYS OF DEMOLITION

In the eighties in Brescia,
based on a project by the architect Benevolo,
five palaces were also built which,
with their considerable height,
dominate the rest of the neighborhood,
characterized by buildings
of more modest height.
Also called "towers",
the buildings are identified
with the names of the streets where they are located:
Titian, Raphael, Michelangelo, Tintoretto and Cimabue.

These last two palaces are the most eastern and
distant from the other three:
they are buildings dedicated to public housing
and for less well-off families.
In 2021 the end of the Tintoretto Tower began.
