I'm a 39 year old Father of 4 from St. Louis Missouri! The Tough Love Show is my first film. I'm a proud graduate of the 1st high school west of the Mississippi river to teach black children 'Charles Sumner High School'. In 1997 I received a football scholarship to William Penn University in Oskaloosa Iowa. However I didn't stay in Oskaloosa long enough to even remember a good place to get a burger! I returned home to the streets of St. Louis where I found refuge and to help take care of a sick mother. In part this was not my best decision. On one hand I gained the calm my heart needed from personally being present to take care of my mother, but on the other hand the streets that I loved so much showed me the very harsh reality of street life. The Bible says the wages of sin is death and what ever a man sows he will reap. Well lets just say I thank God I made it! Which brings me to why I made Tough Love Show. Because any and every attempt necessary to show my children the importance of education and sound decision making became paramount. This would be the only way they wouldn't repeat my mistakes. Just fyi, so far so good, stay tuned.
