Tom Franz is a Creative Director, Producer, Shooter and Editor based in New York. Tom is a 3 time Emmy nominee and has filmed many momentous occasions during his time working in the news world. His work focuses on telling the true stories of people through video and photography.

His passion for photography started as just a hobby when he was very young. Over the years, he was lucky enough to see this hobby flourish into my career. he currently holds the role of Staff Videographer at News 12 Long Island. Since starting with News 12, he have shot and edited countless news stories that impact our communities and people. He is also the creator of BEYOND THE CITY SKYLINE, a documentary short about Waterfowl and upland hunting in New York. Through amazing visuals and story telling he makes the film come to life.
