Titu Ambani
Titu.. his aspirations and dreams are so distant from his abilities/actions/mehnat... he
dreams with wide-open eyes, and in a bid to achieve his dreams searches for the
shortest/quickest way available. Despite this debt-ridden life, if you ask him, he is no
less rich/talented/a dreamer than Ambani!
But a man might have his faults, love hardly seems to value these tangibles! In his web
of dreams and debt, maybe it is Titu’s love which is keeping him anchored. Mousmi..! It
was due to Mousmi’s father’s frail health that she decided to let go of the job offer from
the city and settled for a insignificant job in her town. Mousmi’s life is encircled by her
insistence of being independent and taking care of her old parents.. A responsibility she
fulfils with much sincerity and love. Mousmi and Titu seem like they were made for each
other...but the difficulty arises when Titu’s problematic decisions threaten this thread of
love between them. Before waiting any further to see what happens, Titu marries
mousmi. In another instance, Titu also comes in contact with some businessmen
who arrive in the area to expand their business. Once he sees this opportunity, it was as
if his aspirations of being the next Ambani get a breath of fresh air. He starts putting a
lot of effort into getting his townspeople invested in the project.
Titu and his wife have a great time and he eagerly waiting for her pay day so, he can
pay off some of his debt and spend on luxuries. But Titu’s dreams come crashing down
as his aspiration to live off his wife fizzle out when he gets to know that she sends
majority of her income to her parents at home. fizzle out when he gets to know that she
sends majority of her income to her parents at home.
Titu being the “jugaaduu” he is, visits his in laws and initiates the uncomfortable
conversation about how he would like his wife to share the income with him. The inlaws
are quite simple people who gave in and transfer the money to him without another
word.
Does a man simply by the virtue of being a husband has control over their wife’s
assets? The Parents who brought her up with love, valued her dreams more than their
needs, today do they have no right to expect her support in their old age? Everyone
might talk a lot about gender equality and woman empowerment but at the end of the
day everyone wants a son to care for them in their twilight years! Is a daughter is merely
a guest in her own house, only to marry off to her rightful place? Mousmi agenda to
earn was simply to take care of her parents and ffulfilltheir wishes as they raised her
with great care and respect. Where is the love, care and responsibility in a so-called
equal marriage? When Mosmi came to know about the same, she takes the bold step of
leaving him and refuses to speak with him.
On the other hand, Titu finds that he has embroiled himself in another fraud scheme
with the Business he was in. Right before his eyes, in one full sweep, all his dreams
come crashing down! More trouble begins to brew where other townsfolk who had
invested in the business also consider Titu responsible for their misfortune. Situation get
so bad that Titu has to run away to save his life, leaving everything behind. How does
he overcome his trials and troubles from then on.. Does he manage to earn Mousmi’s
love and trust back again.. what new lessons does life teach him and his views... This
story meanders thorough these questions to reach its end.

I Rohit Raj Goyal was born on October 1st, 1982, in Delhi, India. I completed my schooling and graduation from Delhi and then went on to pursue my passion for theatre. For the next seven years, I honed my skills as an actor and director, working on almost 30 plays during this time.
In 2006, I moved to Mumbai to pursue a career as a director in the entertainment industry. I quickly made a name for myself and went on to work on several popular TV shows. Some of his notable works include "Diya Aur Baati Hum" (Star Plus), "Tere Shehar Main" (Star Plus), "Dehleez" (Star Plus), "Jijimaa" (Star Bharat), and "Ishq Subhan Allah" (Zee TV).
However, it was my work on the movie "Titu Ambani" that is most proud of me. I wrote and directed the film, which was released theatrically on July 8th, 2022, and received critical acclaim.
I continues to work on new projects and is always striving to push the boundaries of his creativity.
"My dream has always been to make a movie, and it's something that I've always aspired to achieve. I believe that movies have the power to entertain and inspire people, and it has been my lifelong ambition to create a film that will do just that. My ultimate goal is to produce a movie that not only entertains but also conveys a message that can positively impact the world and make a difference in people's lives. Through my films, I hope to entertain audiences while also leaving them with something to think about, something that will inspire them to take action and make a difference."
