Tiring

A provocation to reflect on the act of observing, but also the act of running. Both can be tiring, but what do we see when we watch someone running? What do we see when we watch a woman running? Is there more to it than just tiredness? Isn't there a woman filled with resilience? persistence? struggle? focus? Isn't there a woman filled with the values that running gives her? Which is more tiring to watch or to run?
Running gives us more than tiredness, it gives us values that are essential to life.

Director Statement

The film invites observation, to delve deeper into the images beyond preconceived ideas. What do we see? How do we see?
What is more tiring? Is it more tiring to talk about the role of women or to observe what they have been capable of all these years?
