Experiencing Interruptions?

Time

LOGLINE:
Time is a short film about Friendship. A group of close school friends getting dispersed over time meet each other after 30 years.

SYNOPSIS:
On a bright morning, while Partha, who is a classical singer rehearses with his son, Bijoy a Techie, surfs social networking sites to get link and phone numbers of his old school mates. He immediately starts online chatting and dialing the connected ones.

Bijoy, being called back by Partha, arrange a meeting, following which they try to connect with everyone in the group. They inform everyone about a reunion they have planned. Piyas, a Professor of English, overwhelmed by the initiative, takes the responsibility of booking the venue. Its time for everyone to join from different parts and meet each other after so long.

Eventually, on a Sunday evening all friends re-group and have a Get Together Party at the club, where everybody gets nostalgic, indulging in stories of good time spent during school days. Promising a new beginning, they plan another Get Together to strengthen the bonding, followed by a trip. But this time, things come to a grinding halt leaving everyone dismayed.

CONCLUSION:
The Key of this film remains in its shooting during the lockdown days at individual houses on individual mobile devices except, a few establishing shots. The Acting, Screenplay, Cinematography & Direction was conducted on a Virtual Platform over video calling for freezing the right takes. Furthermore, in the Party Scene although all the actors are sitting in different places, effort is made to create a single room feel. It was truly a Time well spent.
