Director Statement

I was inspired by a charming hidden park in the town I grew up in and wrote Three Nights during my first summer home from college. Two years later I filmed Three Nights in the same place during my last summer in New York before becoming a full time Californian. It felt poignant to be telling a story about a girl returning to her hometown when I was about to leave mine. In some ways, Three Nights is a love letter to where I grew up.
