My grandfather's swaying gait always invited me to follow him—perhaps to support him, or simply for the pleasure of tracing the uneven footprints he left among the fallen leaves.
In the same way, his doctor's handwriting and the countless little notebooks he filled have always drawn my curious gaze.
In this short film, I follow his luminous figure as it disappears into the greenery of his shaded garden and as he sits in the corner of a bright yellow room, reading thoughts he wrote long ago.
I watch his broad-fingered hands, his bowed legs, and his white beard blending into the small climbing roses that cover the wall.
It is a reflection on the beauty and simplicity of life's quiet, fleeting moments.
