Experiencing Interruptions?

Thoreau

This work seeks to highlight the conflicting dialectic in the links between human beings and animals and interspecies relations within the framework of the traditional Western opposition between "nature" and "culture". It is proposed to imagine a perspective of possible overcoming of binary logic through a small tribute to an anarchist writer, Henry David Thoreau, who understood the need to break with the imposed dichotomous paradigm that justifies cruelty towards the animal species and the indiscriminate advance of industry, the exploitation of all living beings and the hierarchical ordering of society.
