Director Biography - Patrick Hanser

Patrick is a young filmmaker currently enrolled at FAAP Film School, in São Paulo, Brazil, one of Latin America's finest film schools. He works at Spray Films, and acted as 2nd Unit Director on the upcoming film Abe, starring Noah Schnapp and Seu Jorge, and directed an episode for the Breaking the Taboo TV series for the GNT channel in Brazil.

Director Statement

This film is a Brazilian production with the objective of opening up the debate about femicide. Brazil is one of the world's most dangerous countries for women to live in. In 2017, there were 946 reported cases of femicide, an increase from previous years.
