Director Statement

I like to play with genre. I love to take well known subjects and play with them by inserting Indigenous and Queer aspects to the tales. As a 2Spirit individual I don't identify as one gender, but both: I believe I have both male and female spirits within me.

I'm a strong advocate for mental health awareness as I have suffered from anxiety and depression myself. This is a story of grief and moving forward, most of my stories deal with loss and I try to inject them with love or humor because that's how I get through things in my own life.
