His second film was the short-independent film "Bastar", with Tiago Belotti as the protagonist and Rodrigo Huagha producing. In this time Gustavo was being part of other projects in Brasília:
"Projeto Nome", "Projeto Domingo", "Kinólatras" and others. In 2012 they (Gustavo Serrate and Rodrigo Huagha) directed "Infrator" a short film about a man who got out of jail and is trying to enjoy a day of freedom. "Infrator" is the second film about the urban dark nights in Brasília, their city.
