Director Biography - Pedram Djafary

Pedram Djafary is a filmmaker from Gothenburg, Sweden.

With a background deeply rooted in music, Pedram was trained from childhood in traditional Persian instruments before moving into songwriting and music production for other artists. Alongside his creative work, he has taught singing, songwriting, and music production to children and teenagers.

In 2024, Pedram made his directorial debut with "Replika", a sci-fi action drama created as his first-year graduation short film at film production school. Discovering a new passion for visual storytelling, he went on to write and direct "Room Between Us" (2025), his second short film, where he continues to explore themes of family, silence, and fractured bonds through a fast-paced, emotionally charged style.

After only 2 Weeks after graduating Film production he was in a 24h shortfilm competition and made the short film "Feels Like Home".
