Director Statement

A broken friendship is either a full stop or a comma. Having imagined the scenario a lot of times myself, I found it liberating to explore it through this film on how vulnerable it could be to meet someone that once made your life a little bit better. Once friends, now; strangers with memories.

Going into this project, I knew that I wanted to take full advantage of the character's surroundings, by Vegar being placed in a room filled with people who still think he and Sebastian still are the best of friends. So, the choice of having the film take place during an elementary school reunion felt like the most natural and organic way to flush out their backstory. This would also give Vegar the opportunity to miss their friendship and reminisce about their good times, and for just a moment; wish they still were the friends everyone would expect them to be.
