Director Biography - Alfonso Camarero, Jose Luis Ducid

Alfonso Camarero was born in Galicia, Spain, and is a multidisciplinary artist who has been infected with a love of film and music since childhood. He studied sound engineering and philosophy, and has won 12 international awards for his work as a screenwriter, director and composer. He has his own recording studio where he produces music and works on various audiovisual projects.

José Luis Ducid is a painter, poet, actor, director and musician born in Buenos Aires in 1969. As he raises a glass of his beloved whiskey, he refuses to be called Creole Bukowski, a nickname by which he is known in art circles. In 1994, he emigrated to Spain, where he has since published three poetry collections. He studied film at the Escola de Imaxe e Son art school in Coruña and began directing afterwards. He has won several awards as a director and screenwriter of short films like Cubalibre and Unha Estrella. Among other things, he has tried his hand at working in the theatre and has so far staged the monodrama Cómo nacer humano y convertirse en Argentino and the weekly show Aperitivo Kill.
