The epilogues
The end of the world has already arrived, not everyone knows it but it is already here. If it weren’t so, what else could all those news reports broadcast daily on screens and podcasts be? Ironically, the party never seems to stop, even though there is plenty of evidence to confirm that what we are living is an epilogue, the final gasps of this story of humanity. But whenever something ends, it makes room for something new to begin: an artificial, fictional world filled with beautiful, serene images, where no trace of humanity can disturb that calm.

The end of the world has already arrived, only not everyone has noticed. What else could the endless stream of news reports filling our screens, streams and feeds possibly be, if not proof of a collapse already underway? Ironically, the party never seems to stop, even as we drift through what feels like the epilogue of humanity’s story, its final shallow breaths. But as every ending opens space for something new, we now witness the rise of an artificial, fictional world: one filled with serene, curated images, untouched by chaos, unspoiled by human presence. A future so perfectly still, it no longer needs us.
