Director Statement

This is a short film made within 48 hours at a film festival two years ago. We are asked to improvise a script using one given prop (garbage can), one given line(to live here, you have to do it), one given character (delivery man). I recently re-edit it and refine the sound. This is the first time I work in a crew that has more than 10 people and also the first time participate in 48 hours film marathon. 90% of the people on set are the incoming freshman from Emerson and this is also the first time we cooperate. The film process is tedious and high pressured. We spend one day writing the script and filming it, and the other day reshooting some footage and editing it.
