The Yellow Place
Whilst reading a woman suddenly finds herself transported into a dreamlike space in which she revisits a mysterious, yet not unfamiliar building. As she starts to roam around the ghostly place reality and fiction start to blur and she asks herself the question:
„How do you tell someone they may be talking to a ghost?"
Written, directed and shot mainly in Cork City, "The Yellow Place" revisits Charlotte Perkins Gilman's short story within new places. By exploring locations like the abandoned mental hospital in Cork City and incorporating archival audio, the film aims to capture a woman's journey that transcends time and space.
