The Woman in the Bed

The Woman in the Bed is a short film from the Mellors siblings about the cyclical nature of life and death within a ghost story format. I wanted the audience to feel the powerless and disturbing reality of being trapped in your own body. I hoped to draw out the symbolism of the Woman’s struggle to survive and the connection between both women. I sought to create two distinct visual worlds; one dark and oppressive and the other light and spacious, but with an eerie supernatural connection between them. The goal is to adapt this short into a feature.
