The Woman in Me
The audience will experience that the war between women and men isn’t as sexist as one would imagine; that the confusion is much more complex of a matter than we have yet to address on a global scale. We dive into Rwandan society, where award winning filmmaker Eric Kabera is the keeper of stories that have chronicled the trauma and triumphs of the Rwandan people and East Africa for the last 15 years. It is the woman in him that drives him to speak up. When he says, “The Woman In Me” he speaks of the ancestors. Eric interviews prominent Rwandan citizens, as they express their perspective on the topic and how it corresponds with their perspectives on divorce, law policy, finance, parenting, abuse of the sexes, culture, science, religion and global entrepreneurship.
The Rwandan nation has pushed through post traumatic war to peace building like no other country on the planet. The women of Rwanda have contributed so much to the growth and re-birth of the Rwandan nation; together, as both female and male leadership demonstrates synchronicity between them, in harmony they continue to rebuild, but keep in mind…no human is perfect.

I have been recording the history of recovery and rebuilding from Rwanda for the past 28 years
After making films on the Genocide against The Tutsi in Rwanda. I have now embarked on making more films on peace and reconciliation on the African continent. This film comes to unite and bring a form of understanding among the two sexes where we seem to have a huge misunderstanding and lack of appreciation of this women empowerment movement that has taken shape around the world. Rwanda is at the forefront of this movement.
Here is the expression of love and respect to all the women and mothers from around the world who still struggle to be understood and appreciated accross board.
Here is a message of peace for harmony among humans.
