Gilberto Ramiconi è un regista, montatore e compositore italiano. Il suo lungometraggio The Engagement 2 (2025) è stato selezionato in festival come l’Ostia Film Festival e il COLIFFE – Coliseum International Film Festival. Il cortometraggio The Widow (2023) ha invece partecipato al Ginko Film Festival 2025, dove ha ricevuto un premio.

Director Statement

My short film explores the theme of grief, loneliness and loss. Despite being and visual work, it recounts the profound pain of a woman living in isolation in a house in the woods. The animals surrounding her, including a headless dove, symbolically represent her inner state, the emptiness and torment that mourning has left within her.
