Experiencing Interruptions?

The White Room Trailer One

“The White Room” provides a raw, real, untamed look into our inner psyche. Filmed from the viewer’s point of view, “The White Room,” puts you in the driver’s seat. Upon our birth our minds are like a blank canvas, an empty white room. We’re innocent and clean. As we mature and experience life. That room begins to become cluttered with stains, marks, and different voices. We derive our motivations, reasoning, and decision making from this place. The truth is, no one has a clean canvas and art gets ugly. Immerse yourself into the character’s mind to experience a chilling psychological thrill ride that’ll leave you questioning your own context on life. Those voices are real, that connection you feel isn’t coincidence. Everything, everything, everything leaves it’s mark as this film takes you to a mind-blowing climax that feels strangely personal. The real struggle is within.

Director Biography - Steven Ulman

I have loved film my entire life. I was always the annoying guy who would press pause to study what it was that I was seeing. Every film tells us a little about the writer, the crew, and ourselves. Many have told me film was out of reach. I've worked since I was 10 including 4 years active duty Army with a 15 month combat tour in Iraq. I've lived quite a life from homeless veteran to selected top 12 out of all technical schools to become a Porsche Technician. Throughout all of this I always maintained my love for acting. I always volunteered for plays and skits whenever I could. I finally quit Porsche in 2017 to pursue building my own production company.
I quote Jim Carrey “You can fail at what you don't want, so you might as well take a chance on doing what you love.”
So I got into film by just putting myself out there. Spending most my energy to learn the ins and outs to production. I spent years building up my equipment and editing skills. I am completely self taught through and through. Well, by kind people letting me learn by observing and asking questions. I take every opportunity to get in front of a camera that I can.
I love challenging roles. I live to push my acting to the limits. To this day after 5 years I have never been late to a shoot. I take my military professionalism into everything that I do. I completely immerse myself into the roles that I play. The screenplays and stories that I write and/or direct have the goal of touching my audience. When my audience sees my work whether acting, writing, directing, and/or editing. I always intend to leave a lasting impression that feeds their soul.
