Director Biography - Daniella Almeida

[about] Dani Almeida is an art educator, storyteller, poet, cordelist, writer, and cultural producer. Born in Ceará, raised in Pernambuco, and living for 10 years in the city of Campinas (SP), she inherited from her grandfather, the former farmer, cordelista, and rural unionist Euclides Nascimento, her taste for cordel literature, a segment where she has worked for 15 years. She is also a journalist and holds a graduate degree in Literature with emphasis in Storytelling and Management and Production of Journalism from PUC Campinas. She conducts workshops about cordel and storytelling shows in cultural and educational projects.

Dani Almeida é arte-educadora, contadora de histórias, poetisa, cordelista, escritora e produtora cultural. Nascida no Ceará, criada em Pernambuco e radicada há 10 anos na cidade de Campinas (SP), herdou do seu avô, o ex-agricultor, cordelista e sindicalista rural , Euclides Nascimento, o gosto pela literatura de cordel, segmento onde atua há 15 anos. Também é jornalista e pós-graduada em Literatura com ênfase em Contação de Histórias e Gestão e Produção do Jornalismo pela PUC Campinas. Realiza oficinas e workshops sobre cordel e espetáculos de contação de histórias em projetos culturais e educacionais.
