Director Statement

A filmic encounter with a poem about issues of identity and coexistence.

The imagery draws on the idea of the alter ego, the connection between sub-selves, the experience within the internal/natural/urban landscape. It comes in overlapping waves and, to the beat of electronic music, creates and comments on landscapes of freedom and liberation, encounter and trauma in relation to the body, identity, gender, and the female experience.
