Director & writer Kwami K Ngaojia was born and raised in Newark, NJ to an American mother and a Sierra Leonean father. At a young age, Kwami began editing videos from his favorite Anime and Wrestling Tv shows. Since then, he graduated from Rutgers University Newark with a degree in Video Production and strives to produce meaningful videos and tell stories that impact our thoughts and views in minority communities.
I’m a sucker for holiday pieces. Halloween, Christmas, Valentines Day, those were always some of my favorite tv show episodes. With Christmas around the corner, the inspiration for this film came from my own home. Christmas decorations are the highlight of a memorable Christmas but the set up isn’t my favorite part. I thought, how could we make this task more interesting? We turn it into a game and make it fun! Like many guys, I can turn into a kid playing at the flip of a switch. I’ve never passed up the chance to ball up a piece of paper and shoot it from downtown into the trash. We wanted a holiday piece that was fun, light hearted and relatable and this was exactly what we had in mind.
