The Things That Wait For Us

A young woman loses herself, as she is lost in a labyrinth of winding hallways and inexplicably locked doors. After wandering for a while, she stumbles upon a young man who has given up on trying. She then finds herself in front of a dark opening. She believes that there might be something through the doorway, but, first, she has to step through to find out what is on the other side of the darkness.

Director Biography - M. Ceren Arslan

During the time she was a student in the department of Film Design and Screenwriting at Dokuz Eylül University that she graduated valedictorian, she has contributed many short films, she wrote and directed three short movies. In 2018, she was awarded with her screenplay, titled “Last Day on Earth” in the 15th Cinema of Future competition. In time same year, she directed a short film through the guidance of Bella Tarr, within a workshop that was organized by Antalya Film Forum. She is currently studying Film Production at FSU MFA. She believes that life can be considered as more meaningful through cinema.
