Director Statement

THE TETRAHEDRON is the visual realization of vaperwave musician Christian Carpenter’s concept album of the same name. Director Jonah Barrett utilizes three different camera varieties, one for each dimension the characters find themselves in. The film has been shot all across Washington State, from the beaches of the Pacific Ocean to the City Hall of downtown Olympia, as well as Chambers Bay and Port Townsend’s own Fort Worden. With various creatures such as an alien beach bum, a robot in love, and a giant floating CGI shape straight from the 90’s—THE TETRAHEDRON proves to be a bizarre experiment with a creative kick and a heart at its center.
