The Temporal Bracelet
During the Kangxi era of the Qing Dynasty, Princess Sisi and her close friend Jingxian wander through a stunning autumn landscape, only for Sisi to lose her precious family heirloom—a bracelet passed down from her mother. Their anxious search leads them to a heroic swordswoman who returns the bracelet, sealing a moment of gratitude and destiny. Fast forward to modern times during a Halloween party, where Sisi meets a new friend who strikingly resembles Jingxian from her dream. The bracelet becomes the key that binds past and present, revealing a poignant tale of fate and memory.
The short film is interwoven with original poems and songs that perfectly match the storyline, emphasizing the themes of time and connection. The transitions between the historical and modern settings are elegantly marked by two evocative poems, enhancing the beauty of this cinematic journey through time.
《The Temporal Bracelet 》features four original songs.
Verse 1
On a cold night, she gazes at the moon with sorrow,
Her jewelry close to her chest, seeking dreams in whispers,
The stillness of the scene makes her hesitant to stay,
Wandering through this Halloween night.
Verse 2
In the distance, the sound of ceremonial bells rings,
The two face each other, hearts calm yet uneasy,
The story of Consort Rong echoes,
That ancient dream lingers in the distance,
As the starlight slowly fades,
Kangxi’s eldest daughter steps into a new chapter.
Verse 3
Through the layers of Halloween mist,
Time spins between her wrists,
In an instant, a dream returns to the ancient palace,
Princess Sisi, in the dim night.
End Credits Song
The silent night sky is filled with her hopes,
The time bracelet gifts her endless riddles,
The time bracelet gifts her endless riddles.
