I don't wait for permission. I practice my craft by writing and producing new short films every month — on my own.

As a multi-hyphenate filmmaker — Writer, Director, Producer, DP, and Editor, I'm prepared for opportunities and challenges at each stage of the production process.
Obsessed with all things geek; Fantasy, Anime, Video Games, etc. I grew up an outsider and thus I enjoy telling stories that highlight second chances, underdogs, and overlooked characters with stories begging to be told.
With this film, I wanted to portray a unique, abusive relationship, observed through the lens of the horror genre.
While the relationship in the film is an extreme example, I find it not too dissimilar to dynamics that exist within many Hispanic households.
Many people still normalize corporal punishment and physical abuse within the family despite it being proven to be one of the least effective forms of discipline. Not to mention the negative long terms it can have on children and relationships.
In this extreme scenario, I want to show audiences some of the horrors that perpetrated violence can lead to.
This is the dialogue I hope to encourage with this film, especially at festivals that offer a spotlight to LatinX filmmakers, like myself.
Or at the very least I hope to offer audiences a scary good time :)
