The Sparrow Sings
Haunted. Guilty. Broken. Grant is unable to look away or move forward from the news surrounding the tragic massacre that claimed his sister’s life. There is no escape from the memory of what he lost and his inability to do anything about it. That is until the line between his mind and reality is blurred, and Grant is forced to confront his fears, guilt, and loss. He must find strength to change the narrative of his reality and to honor her memory by moving forward with triumph.

Writer-Director Joshua David is a multifaceted artist and award-winning filmmaker with a passion for connective storytelling with layered perspective. From a remarkably early age, he developed proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, music, and art. His most important development, however, is his heart for people, which drives him to use film and every other medium he can as a means to connect with people on an intimately and viscerally human level. His goal as a thought-provoking and heart-tugging storyteller is to use his disposition in film and culture to establish projects that illuminate art at the intersection of the mind and the soul.
