The Sparrow Sings
Oh be careful little eyes what you see… When an adolescent boy witnesses his world be destroyed, the vibrant sparkle in his eyes is replaced by the cold glow of the screen that traps him in that tragic moment. In the midst of the haunting cage of what he sees, what he thinks, and what he feels is to remember his voice and reclaim the tools to change the narrative.

Writer-Director Joshua David is a multifaceted artist and award-winning filmmaker with a passion for connective storytelling with layered perspective. From a remarkably early age, he developed proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, music, and art. His most important development, however, is his heart for people, which drives him to use film and every other medium he can as a means to connect with people on an intimately and viscerally human level. His goal as a thought-provoking and heart-tugging storyteller is to use his disposition in film and culture to establish projects that illuminate art at the intersection of the mind and the soul.
