How many parents lost their sons? How many sons lost their parents? A young boxer faces his biggest fight, although it is not the battle he expected, in a dark moment of life he faces fate with nothing to gain, like another son.

Director Biography - Anthony Xavier, Xavier Gonz

He was born in Caracas on July 23, 1998. He lived in the José Félix Ribas neighborhood until he was 15 years old. and mute for El Vigía looking for a quieter place and there he discovered the School of Audiovisual Media in the city of Mérida, two hours from the town where he is currently studying in the Faculty of Humanities of the Universidad de los Andes. It was not until he was 14 that he used his first camera, discovering his vocation that beyond, is a way of life.

Director Statement

Filming began in April 2017, in one of the most significant moments of our lives. Months of constant struggle and after hundreds of losses our destiny was no longer the same. The project was abandoned and in 2018 it had an uncertain future, just like Him and Me. We decided to take it up again and talk about our feelings, the emptiness, the struggle that changed us. We are of the generation of Silence, of the few that we still stand in our land, of whom many know and few comment. But we have not yielded to oppression. The Sons of Silence is about that generation destroyed but not defeated, walking in a dark Venezuela waiting to find a light.
