In the near future in Brazil, possession of guys is legalized. Militia groups grow exponentially, escalating tensions in the country to unprecedented levels.
Miro (Anderson di Rizzi) is a good man, married to Solange (Lucy Ramos) and father of Rosa, a seven-year-old girl. Miro decides to enlist in military force training to protect his family from the explosion of violence. What Miro didn't expect was how this new enviroment may end up taking the war into the home, reaching the people he loves most. Will he become the very thing he wanted to avoid?

Director Biography - Thiago Luciano

In his career as a filmmaker and screenwriter, with award-winning films: Feature film “One day yesterday ”, starring Caco Ciocler, Best film at the Beverly Hills Hi-Def Film Festival, Best Direction at the Iberoamerican Festival in Sergipe. Screenplay and direction of the short film “This is not the story of Gregor Samsa”, best film at the 21st São Paulo International Short Film Festival KINOFORUM and Toronto Independent Film Festival. Director of the short film “Inocente”, Official Selection Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival and Miami Film Festival; Thiago was also the screenwriter and director of the short film “CAFÉ TURCO”, awarded by the jury for the best short film at the Paulínia Festival, 2011 and Iberoamerican Film Festival of Sergipe, 2012. The short was selected from the best 20 short films from the world, by the YOUTUBE Yourfilmfestival Festival, 2012. On TV, he created and scripted the series “Meu Amigo Encosto”, the first series produced for the VIVA channel, through the GLOBOSAT program of scriptwriters. In 2018, he released the feature film “Fica Mais Escuro before Dawn”, in which he signs a script and direction, had his debut at the São Paulo International Film Festival 2016.
He is in the post-production phase of the feature film “O Segundo Homem”, where he signs script and direction. Filmed in late 2020, shot in Brazil and France.
In 2021 the streaming HBOMAX debuts its big bet of the year: the investigative procedural series “Os Ausentes” (The Absents). The series was created by Thiago, who also signs as Chief Screenwriter. There are 10 episodes of 45 minutes each. With the production of Panorâmica. And it will be launched throughout Latin America.
