"Very nice. It has a nice feel and says everything that needs to be said. Good luck on fundraising...always the hardest part of making a documentary."

" I'm into making documentary style films. Now in my late seventies, I'm drawn to find off-beat feature stories and personalities instead of covering the daily news." - Dave Paull
We had big dreams and a small budget to create a documentary about an iconic cafe. Its history dates to 1908, when it began as a neighborhood grocery store. I live nearby and it has become one of my favorite hangouts.
We crafted an appeal for donations to fund our documentary. This short video trailer has friendly images and a warm tone designed to attract potential donors.
The other half of the film crew is Wes Skotko, an experienced cameraman and video editor. We are an intergenerational, since Wes is in his mid 30s, while I am in my late 70s. Wes likes to kid me that I'm 'old school' because...well...I am!
