The Redeemables Part 2
Based on true events that focus on New York City's landlord tenant laws. What starts out as yes, maybe another roommate comedy turns into more of a Squatter comedy. Alexander Reed (Swiped), Mesha Millington (Guiding Light) and Gregory Korostichevsky (The Blacklist, Orange is the new black) star in this off beat hilarious comedy about a young man who after inheriting a house, let's his love interest and others move in thinking they will pay rent which they don't which leave him with no options other then to evict them, and that's not so easy in the city of New York

I immigrated to the US when I was a teenager from the Ukraine, after working in various professions throughout my life, I became a professional stand up comedian in New York City rising to regular performer at Comic Strip live, Broadway Comedy Club and Stand Up NY for ten years. This all led me to acting training, writing and filmmaking eventually, it's been a wonderful journey and I am grateful for the opportunity and the ability to make perform and make films. I always loved telling stories about my past in Ukraine and growing up in NYC, so during the pandemic when everything shut down including no acting gigs I picked up a camera and started filming.
For The Redeemables, As a struggling actor in the middle of the Pandemic I Picked up a camera and shot the film by myself on a zero budget, it was a tough process with alot of anxiety, I didnt have money to get help and did not have any contacts in the industry other then fellow actors I worked with. Even post production I had to learn editing techniques, tools. I Thank all the actors that helped me get this project done and I am grateful to the film community for posting youtube videos, guides, that helped me along the way. To say I learned alot would be an understatement, I learned all aspects of filmmaking and I am hooked for the future. I commend all the filmmakers out there, this is an enormous undertaking especially for a fraction of a tiny skeleton crew or one person.
