♥ WE ACCEPT ONLY FEMINIST & QUEER SHORT FILMS ♥ WITH SPECIAL FOCUS ON FEMINIST & QUEER PORN & EROTICA ♥
The Red Dawns collective invites you to join us at, our and yours, 25th International Feminist and Queer Festival!
Traditionally the festival's diverse feminist & queer program consists of concerts, performances, exhibitions, discussions and film screenings all produced by or for female/queer/LGBTIAP+ persons. This year we celebrate the anniversary of the festival and would like to treat our audience with programs of short DIY feminist and queer films, including screenings of feminist & queer porn & erotica.
♥ QUEER FEMINIST PORN & EROTICA PROGRAM ♥
We are interested in short films that present alternatives to mainstream pornography as a place where marginalised groups who are usually excluded from dominant representation find a powerful place of expression and re-appropriation. The submitted films should stimulate our brain, make us think and raise questions on society and on how we understand sexuality, desire, gender and lust.
We invite all the gorgeous film-video-pleasure-fun-excitement makers to submit your short porn and erotica films to be screened in Ljubljana in March 2024.
♥ QUEER FEMINIST SHORT FILM PROGRAM ♥
With this film program we aim to probe the boundaries of our representations, echoing not only our struggles but also our moments of happiness, our fears, and the profound connections we share in our communities. We are open to feminist and queer short films of any genre made by and/or for the representatives of the LGBTQI+ community.
The Red Dawns International Feminist and Queer Festival wants to create a safe space to collectively discuss and reflect on pornography, sexuality and sexual identity from feminist and queer perspectives. We warmly embrace all genres and on-screen media that are brimming with visions, reflections, community, and imagination.
Join us in reshaping the narrative and reclaiming our future. Submit your film today and be part of a movement that embraces diversity, challenges oppression, and champions the power of storytelling.

March the 8th is our holiday and we rightfully take our space, all queer feminists and queer people, and present our artistic, intellectual, creative and other underestimated, unexposed or invisible, but important work. It is time for our voices to be heard both on the Internet and in the streets, and for our laughter to echo, our smiles to shine, and our hugs to be woven.
All of us who are different, neglected, marginalized and invisible, we stay here! We work, create, care for the community and cultivate rebellion, and take time for ourselves as well. Joy is also a tool for the revolt against capitalism and repression!
