Director Biography - Danielle J. Bowman

I have been called a Renaissance woman more than a few times in my life. As an Actress, Producer, 1st Assistant Director, Script Supervisor and now Head of Production for DAME Media, I thrive putting my talents to good use. I am passionate about filmmaking and always bring my “A” game.

I love working on both sides of the camera! My experience as a Producer and other crew positions has made me a more valuable asset on set as an actress and vice versa. No matter what role or position I have on set, I pour my heart and soul into my work and the saying is true…if you love what you do, then you will never work a day in your life.

Originally from California, I now live in Orlando, Florida with my husband and two almost grown children.

Director Statement

My #1 goal when I produce a film is to do assemble the best team possible so that the final product is a film that's 'firing on all cylinders'...camera, lights, sound, talent, etc...It needs to have that big screen look and feel.
I'm very proud and pleased that The Ranger (Written by and Starring Jeffery S. Herman), which I both Produced and Directed won BEST PICTURE at the Orlando Independent Filmmakers Escape Challenge Film Festival! We also won Best in Genre (Retro) and Best Music! We were also nominated for Best Cinematography, Best Editor, Best Sound, Best Original Story, Best Lead Actor, Best Lead Actress and Best Director! Oh my!
