I'm human, just like you, and I'm concerned about the future of humanity on this spacecraft we call home, we call Earth. I want my children to grow up to be good people, and I want their generation and those that follow to enjoy this world and the beauty it now offers.
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Maryland at Baltimore County, with a degree in Visual Arts. I have lived and worked in Los Angeles on indy films as a film editor and cinematographer. More recently, I had been working as a director writer cinematographer on commercials and documentary work, but after some health issues I am leaving cinematography behind and working to direct and write narrative and long form documentary and series work.
I have a wonderful wife and two terrific kids who amaze me every single day. I love to hike. (Acadia Park is a favorite) I have lived in several places, been to many more, driven across this country multiple times, enjoy cooking, playing old arcade games, hanging out with friends, meeting new people and hearing what makes them tick.
The last few years have taught me, "We never know what might be going on in someone else's life, so maybe we should cut each other a little slack.”

The story of “The Quiet Fire” kicked off when I heard a lovely song called “Coal Fire” by singer song writer Jeffrey Martin. It got me thinking about people and society and below the surface frustrations, that sometimes well up in violent ways.
My personal history with an abusive father drew me into this dystopian, sometimes bat-shit-crazy story, where families are trying to find each other and maybe don’t become whole again…
Writing this film has been cathartic and fun and there’s a part of me in it.
Thank you kindly & Positive vibes!
