The Pod

April, a devoted wife, suspects her husband Quan of infidelity but remains silent, hoping it's just her imagination. One day, Quan receives a call from his girlfriend on his iPod, which he leaves on the sofa. Unbeknownst to him, April finds the other piece of the iPod and listens in on the conversation, confirming her worst fears.

As she listens, her emotions shift from shock to anger, and she finally finds the courage to confront Quan about his deceit. The film builds up to a dramatic showdown between the couple, showcasing the consequences of silence and the power of speaking truth to betrayal.

The short film explores themes of marriage, trust, and the complexities of relationships, raising questions about when to speak out against injustice and how long one can remain silent in the face of betrayal.

LEARNMORE TAFARA MUDAMBURI BIOGRAPHY
Learnmore Tafara Mudamburi also better known as Adidja in the film circles has works on few productions as a Script writer creator, director, assistant camera operator and also appearing on a few as an actor. The few following productions have his name popping on them. Ngoni, a short film on Youtube, which was short by the University of Zimbabwe Theatre Arts and Chaminuka Arts (2018 https://youtu.be/qnqkfWvBCK0), former photographer filming and editor at Parirenyatwa group of hospitals as in intern. (31 July 2019- 1 April 2020), was an assistant director on the show Glitz and glamour in 2020. YouTube channel down rains entertainment, was an assistant director and also a camera person on a short film called The Quest (2018) down Rains YouTube channel. He was also Assistant director on an epic tv series called shungu dzemoyo(2018) downrains youtube channel ,was an actor on the Date my friends show episode 4 also on youtube.(31 October 2020). Also worked as a videographer at SDee TV 1. -An online youtube channel (3 July 2020 to 31 November 2021), Worked on a youtube series, Jinda the heart breaks as a camera person (Emmanuel Saimon youtube channel), Worked at Ctmak events management as a photographer and videographer. (3 December 2021 to 31 January 2022), Worked at Rain media as an Assistant editor on the project TANGLED SEASON 2 - 3. (12 July 2022 to October 2022). Recently he has been working on youtube skit which can be found on the 1st Films gallery Youtube channel. His latest production where he was working on is The Pod where he is the creator and the Director of the which was shot in 2024.
He was born in Masvingo Town on the 23rd of September in the year 1997. he did his Primary to secondary Education in Bulawayo. He then came to Harare where he came to persue his studies on Film studies.
