OURS

Our People was created as an experiment in historical storytelling. Rather than relying only on interviews and archival materials, the film combines documentary observation, expedition footage, and dramatic reconstructions of real wartime events.

The goal was to create an emotional connection between contemporary audiences and the people whose lives were shaped by World War II. By blending factual history with cinematic reconstruction, the film offers a new way of preserving historical memory.

The concept and production were developed by Anna Raevskaya. The project represents an innovative approach to documentary filmmaking, combining several narrative forms within a single work.
