Hi,
My name is Daniel Bird, and I live in a tiny town called Karangi, which is around half an hour west of Coffs Harbour, Australia. For my primary, and also first four year of high school, I spent 11 years @ The Coffs Harbour Bible Church School. I am now studying, (amongst other subjects) Industrial Technology Multimedia @ The Coffs Harbour Senior College.
I love the country, and the wonderful natural surroundings within which we live. I've always loved creatively producing things from a very young age, and I do this in a way that I might be able to inspire others.
I began my production journey, doing simple PowerPoints for small school tasks. I then began bending the guidelines of assessments to begin incorporating a digital response anytime I could replace paper.
I transitioned to creating short films, however, I was still very closely related to PowerPoints, and public domain stock footage that I could find on the web.
Just before I turned 17, I bought a DJI Osmo 4K action gimble, and instantly fell in love with cinematography, visual storytelling, and being a film-maker.
Since then, I continue to take my camera gear with me everywhere that I go, and attempt to capture footage in weird and quirky ways, that no one else has managed to do before.
My goal is to capture footage in a way that no one would have thought possible. I go out of my comfort zone to try something new, and more often then not, it turns out amazingly. I have a genuine care for people, and as a result, I aim to uplift, inspire, and encourage people to live to the best of their abilities.
I pack my films full of energy, and I have so much fun editing my films, and this can be felt as someone watches my films for the first time.
I am also a devoted Christian, and the aim of my film career is to reach others for Christ, through the power of his word, as shared through digital media.
