Director Biography - Mike J. McAllister

Mike J. McAllister is an Austin-based filmmaker, screenwriter and animator. His films have played in festivals around the world and have won many awards. He has also been a contributor to the website/podcasting network OneOfUs.Net since 2016 and has created animations as a freelancer for movie theaters, live events as well as the Austin Horror Film Festival. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, he resides in Austin Texas.

Director Statement

I've been wanting to make another horror film for a while. And for this, I dug up an old repressed memory of something that happened to me and an ex-girlfriend in Pittsburgh that could've gone very badly. So I started to construct a story about that and looked to some horror films I recently enjoyed. This was a pretty quick production compared to most of my animated work.
