Director Biography - Phoebe Mattana

Phoebe Mattana is an actor, writer and director based in New York City. Coming from a background of improv and sketch, they love making people laugh and creating comedic content that doesn’t take itself too seriously. As a non-binary artist and creator, they're particularly interested in telling stories about LGBTQ+ individuals and women.

Director Statement

"Be the female buddy comedy that you wish to see in the world", or something like that. In all seriousness though, we need more films that show women being funny (especially women doing physical comedy), and what could be a better backdrop than Prospect Park.
