Director Biography - Marc Martinez

Marc Martinez is a bilingual, dynamic, and accomplished creative filmmaker, with a diverse portfolio as a writer, director, cinematographer, and editor. A graduate of the prestigious Los Angeles Film School, Marc holds a double focus in directing and cinematography, complemented by minors in editing and sound design. His extensive skill set and keen eye for detail have garnered him acclaim and recognition for his work in the world of film and media.

Marc’s award-winning cinematography work in the film “Cold Blows the Wind” earned him the coveted “Best Cinematography” award at the Horrorhound Film Festival. His short film “Still” has also received numerous accolades, including “Excellence in Filmmaking” and “Outstanding Achievement.” Marc’s debut feature film, “50K,” has been successfully distributed on Tubi, Amazon, and Roku. His sophomore film, “The Memory in My Heart,” has successfully completed post-production and acquired worldwide distribution. It will be included in Glass House Distribution’s catalog at the Cannes film market in 2024.

As the co-founder of Robb Squad Film Company, alongside his partner Sherry Robb, a talented talent manager and literary agent, Marc has been instrumental in developing a ten-feature slate of thrilling projects.

Always ahead of the curve, Marc is passionate about exploring new filmmaking techniques, embracing virtual production using the Unreal game engine, and sharing his expertise through panel discussions and interviews.
