Director Biography - Mihajlo Vitezović

Born in Belgrade 1991, although he wanders a century up or down sometimes. Graduated in Dramaturgy at the Academy of Arts in Belgrade, currently a graduate student in Multimedia Directing at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad.

Bit of a Jack-of-all-trades, being a screenwriter, director, graphic designer and visual effects artist.

Makes strange and engaging films while waiting for that jetpack old sci-fi films promised us.

Director Statement

I was always fascinated by the idea of alternate universes where the history has taken a different turn. Everybody wonders "what would X look like", with X being something large and obvious.
I wondered "What would a commercial break look like? What if someone in our universe found a tape with it? And what would a world in which Yugoslavia still exists and the US do not, with Belgade hosting the largest sports event Yugoslavia hoped for and deserved?"
